Etch

EtchEtch entered the world of electronic music after he heard Venetian Snares for the first time infected by the curiosity of how these mind bending sounds were created he began dabbling with DAW software on the eve of the birth of what became to be known as dubstep, initially making drum & bass Etch found a new love when he first heard Skream's remix of legendary duo Digital Mystikz' "Ancient Memories". It was that sound, that tempo (130-140bpm) that set off a creative flare in Etches head. As his taste in music matured, ditching the mid-range wobble sound dubstep shot off into, he became interested in the deeper side of the sound and particularly UK Garage. He stopped making music for a long time while developing skills, listening to the works of Burial, James Blake, Joy Orbison and El-B. Then last year he began releasing tunes publicly gaining popularity fast amongst people who had their ears to the internet, being featured on numerous blogs such as Kidcity, Wearerebels and Truants. His sound can only be described as a hazy euphoricre-imagining of early 00's late 90's UK Garage and 2-step, skipping crisp percussion, panned outsynth chords and warm crackle generating colourful imagery.
